In a major power move prior to the holidays, we pushed releases for each of the C9 themes with block patterns made up of core WordPress blocks.
Block patterns weren’t around when we started C9, which is why we have the templates modal with all of our page and section templates. Now that WordPress has block pattern support in core, we’ve added several full-page and section templates for each of our themes depending on the purpose of that theme.
C9 Music theme, seen in the video below, has patterns for podcasts, audio embeds, a ‘tour schedule,’ and a coming soon page. All of the C9 themes have different patterns depending on their main focus.
This means we can force sensible design and nice landing page templates on you even if you don’t install the C9 Blocks plug-in.
