WordPress – The right tool for the job
We’ve been coding and developing for the web since the time of Angelfire and Geocities when we were all still in high school–that’s stretching back over 17 years ago. As time for the young web progressed, we’ve gone from using online text editors to code simple HTML websites, to using dynamic database content with the help of PHP/MySQL, or some sort of custom build content management system, which leads us to where we are in the present day with systems like Squarespace, Joomla, and WordPress. The days of building pages from scratch, or using a website as a five-page brochure are long over with the competitive nature of digital marketing.
Since starting COVERT NINE in 2013, we’ve developed sites that get hit by 5,000 – 10,000 visitors per second, all the way down to sites that are only visited only by internal company employees. There’s a lot of different engineering challenges associated with any content management system–especially considering modern responsive websites need to work on all screen sizes in a variety of different and sometimes old web browsers.
Despite our wide range of CMS experience, in the last 8 years or so we haven’t found many jobs that we couldn’t get done with some sort of WordPress-based content management system. In recent years, we’ve even done some development with headless Vue.js-driven sites with the help of WordPress only as the admin interface.
That’s why we’ve come to embrace the open-source, and flexible nature of WordPress as our CMS of choice. It can be used by a single freelancer, business owner, or a marketing and public relations coordinator.
With the guidance of a digital team that understands marketing on the web, and a well-designed WordPress website, small companies working with COVERT NINE over the years have had the benefit of larger email lists, better open rates, more social media followers, and most importantly, more revenue, from websites that are working while you’re not.

CUSTOM BUILT CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
We’ve spent the last three years working on our own WordPress content-driven platform that removes the friction that comes with most WordPress themes. Our platform, that we call C9, gets your site spidered quickly by Google for fast organic search indexing, keeps your files safe and secure, and looks great on all different types of screen sizes. If you aren’t generating revenue, or a larger following with your WordPress website, we’re here to show you the way.
WE’RE NOT SIZE QUEENS
We work with businesses, non-profits, and organizations that are just getting started, all the way up to Berkshire-Hathaway.

Oh no, your website has been infected with malware!
If there’s one unfortunate side effect to the popularity of WOrdPress, it’s malware. due to the sheer popularity of WordPress, and an abundance of poorly coded plugins, it is common for websites to be probed and injected with malware by hackers.
Your $5/month hosting account may also be to blame for your site getting infected from lax permissions and lazy sysadmins.
Malware can affect your search rankings, take over your server with ransomware, disable hosting accounts, and can even cause your private data to be hijacked.
Don’t fall victim to malware by choosing a hosting provider who maintains your WordPress site, scans for malware regularly, and keeps all plugins and code up to date.
But, if you have been infected with malware, and need help repairing your site, you’ve come to the right place.
