Harry Caray’s Restaurant Group faced a unique problem, how do they communicate each brand’s unique offerings with just one website? Some Harry Caray’s concepts are more relaxed, while the flagship concept, Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse, is a higher-end upscale restaurant.
The new website is completely self-managed, features 7 unique designs for each concept that helps emphasize the unique qualities from that particular venue, a fully PCI-compliant e-commerce store, and it’s responsive design gets users the information they’re looking for, no matter what device they’re using.
After several poor experiences with other marketing agencies, we approached COVERT NINE to help rethink and create the web presence of Harry Carays—including each of its unique restaurant concepts and catering business. There was one major challenge, how could one website convey the brand essence of each concept, considering how diverse the various properties? It was an enormous amount of information to condense and streamline into a meaningful, intuitively browsable website. The previous website had failed at both tasks, nor was it available to support an online store for e-commerce and gift card sales potential.
COVERT NINE not only managed to develop a site that fulfilled all of our requirements, but they also managed to make each individual Harry Caray’s concept unique. Moreover, they developed a completely turnkey website, allowing us to update and make changes internally without having to reach out to the agency every time we need to make an update (or pay a fee). Their expertise, professionalism and problem-solving and ongoing support has allowed us to do more with our website to promote all of the great things going on at each Harry Caray’s property and optimize our catering business.
